Dimming of the Day (3:06), by Richard Thompson. Romantic, slow, soaring melody, cathartic. This song has haunted me for years. I’ve been very hesitant to record the song that has been covered so masterfully by Bonnie Raitt, Mary Black, and so many others. But I did it, just me and my guitar cuz I love the song and want to pay tribute to a great songwriter.
